Ikea to Start Selling TVs as Furniture

Let's all hope that they at least include a soldering iron for assembling the electronic components. I'm not 100% sure I could put together a TV with just that squiggly wrench they usually provide... check out the photos after the jump.

The Verge outlines the specs for the new offering from Ikea.

The range includes three designs, all of which incorporate an LED TV, 2.1 sound system with wireless subwoofers, Wi-Fi for smart TV features, and DVD / Blu-Ray players.

Just don't expect to see this in the states until sometime next year. The basic model is expected to sell for around $1,000. This might actually be a genius direction for the company.
